A culture mixed with purpose, passion, and a whole lot of personality.

Our 12 Behaviors

At Kaniksu Community Health, our culture is not an accident—it’s an advantage. In 2019, our Senior Leadership Team committed to building a healthier, more aligned, and more purposeful organization by working through The Advantage by Patrick Lencioni. This framework guided us in answering the Six Critical Questions and defining the 12 Behaviors that shape how we work, how we lead, and how we show up for one another and our community.

We believe a strong, intentional culture is essential to delivering exceptional care, fostering trust, and ensuring every employee feels connected to the mission. These foundational principles aren’t theoretical—they influence our decisions, actions, communication, and relationships every day. By living our 12 Behaviors and grounding ourselves in the clarity provided by the Six Critical Questions, we ensure that our entire organization moves in the same direction with shared purpose and unity.

Our culture is something we protect fiercely, practice consistently, and strengthen continuously—because when our people thrive, our patients and our community thrive.
